Worth Township House Dedication

On Sunday, June 10th we dedicated the house we were building in Slippery Rock. Erin Jamison and her family were presented with the keys to the house and their family Bible. The Reverand Connie Freirson from Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople lead the dedication ceremony and blessed the house and its occupants. We appreciate everyone’s support by prayers, monetary donations, materials or volunteering to work on the house.

Worth Township house is almost ready!

The Habitat for Humanity Board is thrilled to announce that the house we are building in Slippery Rock, PA is almost complete. Dedication for the house will be sometime in late December. We will present the family with their Bible and the keys to the house. Refreshments will be served after the dedication, so please come and congratulate them on becoming home owners!

Worth Township House Update

The garden club of Slippery Rock planted bushes around the front of the house. Kitchen cabinets have been installed and we are about to hook up the water. We are finishing the front porch and back deck. Next come the solar panels to help with the cost of electricity. Our Habitat volunteers look forward to completing this house and the family is waiting anxiously to move into their new home.

Worth Township house

Habitat has been working hard to finish the house in Worth Township. The painting has been completed, the floor tiles have been laid and the kitchen cabinets have been installed!

Now that the back has been been filled in we can begin work on adding the new deck. A group has volunteered to do the landscaping and build the garage.

As soon as the house is complete we will set a date for the dedication and turning the house over to the family!
